We hit the beach early this year at a local city park. Going before school gets out (if you have a warm enough day) is wonderful- the beach was empty except for about half a dozen other mothers with toddlers, and they also don't charge any admission fee. Here are a few pictures of our adventure, as well as a video of Chara very absorbed in the work she was doing.
