Higgins Lake

Two weekends ago we headed north with some friends and camped out at Higgins Lake State Park. It was a beautiful weekend and we had the campground and beach mostly to ourselves. It felt like summer minus the crowds, humidity, bugs, and (unfortunately) warm water. The kids didn't care though... the beach was sandy and the water was shallow, calm, and crystal clear.
