"We judge ourselves based on our intentions. Others judge us based on what we actually do."
This is a paraphrase of something I heard someone say over dinner last night and I thought "Wow, that is so true." Intentions are of no real value if we stop there! And I know that I have let that be "good enough" many times. Ironically, it almost seems to be because of this skewed view of ourselves that we are kept from turning our intentions or beliefs into reality.
